In Japan, they started using minimalist covers that showed altered versions of the same logo once the series became popular enough to sell itself. The Final Fantasy covers are a good example. NakeyJakey's mistake is that a lot of these "good" covers are only good to people who already know the games they're buying and don't need a cover to sell them the content or context. Who build it ? For what purposes ? Are there still people inside ? Am I even supposed to be there ?

Maybe by doing this long enough, you think you'll know exactly what is. You're standing there, trying to make sense of it.
You know it's at the center of the galaxy, and it looks manmade, for lack of a better word.
